Initial Focus

There are literally dozens of issues that are adversely impacting consumers as a consequence of malpractice, malfeasance, misconduct and mis-selling within the financial services sector.

The APPG has decided to initially focus its attention on three main themes:

  1. The need for regulatory reform in light of major investment scandals, including London Capital and Finance, Connaught Income Fund Series 1, Interest Rate Hedging Products and so on.
  2. Authorised Push Payment Fraud
  3. Payment holidays and credit referencing
